NEW YORK (Billboard) - U2 is planning to tape a show from its Elevation world tour for future broadcast, guitarist The Edge said during a chat on the group's official Web site. The artist said the show will probably be broadcast around Thanksgiving, after which point an accompanying DVD will be released. The Edge also said that while "there's a lot of beginnings" for new songs, U2 doesn't expect to debut any of them during the course of the tour. "Until we get into a full few months of writing, I don't think we're going to come up with anything finished," he said. During future shows, look for U2 to unveil songs that have yet to be played live from its most recent Interscope album "All That You Can't Leave Behind." The North American leg of the tour ends Friday in East Rutherford, N.J. European dates kick off July 6 in Copenhagen.
