New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Afterworld Records) - Four years ago, the world was introduced to the infectiously potent stylings of Fields of Forel. Their debut album, Sleep | Study, defined their signature sound designed to promote visualization, meditation and relaxation; ideal for aiding sleep disorders and concentration.

Through innovative guerilla promotion, founding members - (Dr.) Aurelio Laing III, Nathan Slimane and Enrique Palacios have pioneered an awareness for new age music with a unique twist; playing countless live shows outside their vintage VW Samba bus to growing crowds throughout the streets of downtown San Antonio and beyond. Their captivating shows incorporate stimulating video imagery and unconventional instrumentation - able to change and adapt to any environment they perform in (e.g. museum galas, private parties, city festivals, nature parks, etc.), each show is its own unparalleled event. Since the band's inception, a growing buzz has been circulating around the globe with various media outlets taking serious interest in discovering Fields of Forel.

In August 2009, the band released a profound collection of new work on a double-disk album, "5/8" - which refers to the Fibonacci sequence (specific numeric patterns) used throughout. One disk features tracks recorded inside V Music studio, alongside Grammy winning engineer, Gilbert Velasquez. The other features the same tracks performed in succession live outside in one recording; a truly noteworthy experience and a must hear!
To get your copy, head over to iTunes or CDBaby - you can also find them on Facebook, MySpace as well as their official site - www.fieldsofforel.com.
Attention Grammy Members: Please consider Fields of Forel's "5/8" for Best New Age Album ~ look for it on this year's entry list (ballots due by October 9th)!
