CHICAGO, IL. (Top40 Charts/ Dimetreus C Maxey Official Website) - The 720 is an intellectual street rapper from the streets of Cabrini Green (The hood of Cooley High). Raised in the projects he developed a street mentality. His 6' 7" height gave the impression of a basketball playground legend. Power is one of the goals of the 720.

Building it includes focusing the mind and body toward the goal. His style has been described as a cross between the word-ology of the D.O.C. from N.W.A., the wisdom of Gang-star, combined with the commercial appeal of Jay-Z. The 720 sounds like psychologist on steroids.
He is a leader in an up and coming network of hardcore streets mc's from the Chicago area. This network consists of producers and mc's destined to rise to power in the Midwest area. Also a producer, the 720's style of production, presents what he calls that "New millennium sh*t". This is music that sounds futuristic at times and can rock any club or party.

The 720's latest project is "The Shield" E.P. It is his first release to show his lyrical prowess and gain recognition.
"The Shield" will block anything that may attack the 720 during his rise to power. In his first single release "I Drop Hip Hop" the 720 exhibits lyrical prowess dropping major flavor for the streets. "Hold on" is his second simultaneous release. This song gives hope to the youth for perceived hard times.
"Payrent" is a subconscious song. This song is termed "subconscious" because it is aimed at the part of the brain that is sleep and needs to awaken.
"You Can't Hold Me" makes a political statement exploring the depths of the mind to find true freedom. You got to have street and book knowledge to survive these days. The 720 is subject matter and lyrics personified. The cage has been opened and the power man is here.

The 720 has the music, and the production to take rap beyond the year 2008. He will help others enter a new rap order. He takes street knowledge commercializes it in the clubs but remains loyal to the underground hip hop heads. No one came penetrate the E.P. known as "The Shield". All listeners will enter a new age of rap.
