About Platform NYC

Platform uptown is the new downtown as street fashion takes its turn to detail-oriented motifs, imported fabrics, and vibrant color ways. Platform in the Bronx is the new boutique for the avant-garde that swarm the downtown New York City scene. Platform serves as an easy reach for the uptown dweller that usually travels the 1.5 hour ride to pick up their favorite pair of Japanese-denim jeans from the downtown boutiques.

About David E Beats

As a triple threat (artist, producer, guitarist) David E Beats aims to reach both the head and the ear with his strong musical and lyrical abilities. His music is a genre-blurring blend of Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock and Electro, an absolute tapestry of diverse musical influences. He succeeds to go from groundbreaking Hip Hop samples to high-electronic sounds reasonably. This artist's creativity follows none and his talent defies many. Hailing from Washington D.C, David E Beats was raised to the chant of a medley of Soul pioneers, respectively: The Moments, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin; and the grunge-rock sound of bands such as Sound Garden and Nirvana. Before the age of 15, David E Beats had never listened to Rap music. He started to develop an interest in Hip Hop when he bought his first Rap CD, ''The Blueprint", by Jay Z. His grind has been relentless since! His recent accomplishments prove that his drive and passion for music will constantly lead him to new heights! The release of his first mix-tape project ''David E Beats Blvd'' (May 2009) waved very positive reviews with smash singles "Walk In" dedicated to the underdog receiving radio plays(i.e: 89.9 FM in North Carolina) and the song 'Her features' ,an ode to women. In June and August 2009, David E Beats had 2 Open Mic Showcase Tour in New York City with live performances at Voodoo Lounge and the infamous Bowery Poetry Club.
