Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Bodell Records) - Bodell Records recording artist Jamie Tate has club goers across the country lining up on the dance floors and at the DJ booths to request her new single, 'One Beer Away From Loving You.' The song has been a popular request in the dance club community after Tate's label and promotion team decided to release the single to clubs in addition to a traditional radio promotion campaign. 'The Country dance club is a key element in breaking a new artist,' says David Haley, President of Edgehill Music & Media. 'Most Country radio stations have a relationship with dance clubs in their market, and they recognize that a portion of their core audience is hearing new music there first. There's a good chance that if it's working in the dance clubs, it will work on Country radio. Jamie's single is a perfect example of that.' Marco Club Connection, a Nashville-based dance club marketing and promotion company that works with more than 220 Country music venues and dance instructors, is promoting 'One Beer Away From Loving You' at dance clubs across the country. Artists such as The Zac Brown Band, Big & Rich, Joey + Rory and Gloriana are just a few of the artists that have gained exposure at the beginning of their careers through the company's venue marketing efforts. 'Jamie is an artist that has had immediate response in the clubs,' says Marco Club Connection's Bobbe Morhiser. 'We've gotten a ton of feedback from DJs telling us that their patrons have been coming in and asking specifically for this song. That is always an incredibly good sign for up-and-coming artists.' Additionally, renowned choreographer Junior Willis has created a custom dance routine called 'The 12 Ounces Line Dance' for Tate's new single. The name references a line in the song's chorus and can be viewed at www.JamieTateMusic.com. 'One Beer Away From You' recently shipped to radio in conjunction with its dance club marketing campaign.
