New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ De Adshas Official Website) - De Adshas is a Nigerian based female duo group. I'm sure many may knew little about them like i do before now. I was first caught by their sweet voice when i first came across their page on afrijamz, after listening to their song i felt there is a need to get to know these ladies because what i heard got me picturing them as Nigeria's
Brick & Lace those they are not twins but they are blood sisters. I will like to have few back from music heads, music fans and A&Rs what they think about "De Adshas". I've had the opportunity to meet with them and according to them, the song they have on air right now is not exactly what they are. To them that is just for the streets, watch out for their next single which will tell the world what they are made of.
From their voice and flows on the two tracks they have on air right now, i can give them pass mark and i see them as female artistes to watch out for in the next few months they may took the whole music industry under their control.

OFFICIAL BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Calabar, the capital city of their mother's home state, the Adelokiki sisters; Adeola (Ade) and Folashade (Shade) are hopeful of lighting up the Nigerian music scene with contemporary Dancehall music. The duo started their musical quest in 1995 when they joined the Apostolic Church Choir in Calabar.
With both sisters being graduates from the University of Calabar, (Ade, Environmental Protection Management and Shade, Policy Studies Administration), they received the support of their parents and family to toe the entertainment line.
'Our mum actually helps us in writing some of our songs,' Ade, the elder sister, said confirming the family support. Their mother is also a chorister for the church where they learnt how to sing.
'Being sisters and working together is fun and it brings us closer,' Shade said. 'But it doesn't mean we don't have our differences, we learn to compromise on them though,' Ade chipped in.
They chose entertainment over a career in their field of study because both have a strong passion for music. 'I think music is life,' Ade said. For Shade, 'music makes life interesting'. 'I sleep music and dream music; I eat music because music is a full part of me,' she said.
Although they deviated into secular dancehall music after being schooled in a church choir, they still credit God as the source of their inspiration. They also get inspired by people, their experiences and their mother.
Armed with two tracks 'Give Me' featuring Shalom and 'Ima' (it means love), it is clear their message is about love. Although the former is not your typical dancehall track that will rule the airwaves, it shows promise, especially in vocal quality. 'Ima' on the other hand leans more towards R&B than Dancehall; possibly showing their versatility, which is a strength they should maybe explore.
