New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Catz Entertainment) - Thanks For Serving! Respect and a tremendous thank you for serving, are in order everyday, but on Wednesday, November 11th in New York City, top charting Billboard diva of dance, amberRose Marie on Catz Entertainment will sing it out loud with her heart and soul through a LIVE high energy pop dance performance when she joins hundreds of others who will honor and celebrate thousands of military women and men and their families who have answered the highest call to serve in the United States Armed Forces during the Thanks For Serving Concert in NYC. The Thanks For Serving Concert is open to invited guests. amberRose Marie joins the USO Liberty Bells, Dancing With The Stars cast members Anya and Christian Baerens, Michael Amante, Debbie Dangerfield, and many other surprise celebrities and guests honoring those who have defended the Blessings of Liberty-the 2009 Veterans Day Parade theme.

Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 am, marks the 90th Anniversary of the Veterans Day Parade down 5th Avenue from 26th to 56th streets and this year, following the parade, service members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, National Guard and their families are in for a fantastic treat during a festive Thanks For Serving Concert organized by the United War Veterans Council, producers of the annual Veterans Day Parade in New York City.

The Veterans Day Parade, also known as the Nations Parade is presented by The United War Veterans Council, in partnership with the Mayors Office of Veterans Affairs, The Mayors Office of Special Events, New York City DOT, City of New York Parks & Recreation, The 26th Street Armory, Jr. ROTC Color Guard, and sponsors to include HBO, U-Haul, NYC Group Tours, CUNY, Greater Chamber of Commerce, along with hundreds of marching bands, veterans groups and military units. The Parade is the largest of its kind in the nation, providing those who live, work and visit New York an opportunity to honor those who have preserved our freedoms. Other Veterans Day events include the Mayor's Veterans Recognition breakfast hosted by New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Eternal Light Monument Opening ceremony at Madison Square Park prior to the parade start, at 10 am, and a public Veterans Day street fair following the parade at 56th Street between Madison and Sixth Street in partnership with Mardi Gras Production. Tuesday, Nov 10th brings on an early morning Band of Pride youth event on Times Square. For more about these official events, log onto www.unitedwarveterans.org.

Says amberRose Marie, "I am honored to bring my stage show to our military and their families at the Thanks For Serving Concert. My brother is in the Air Force and my father was in the Army so this day has an even extra special meaning for me; it is very personal." amberRose Marie continues, "Bob Hope in his USO show, set the standard high, and I am inspired to live up to it." Of her show amberRose Marie states, "I am bringing along my backing vocalists, Tyheema Marvin, Alicia Jagrup, and Troy McCullen and my dancers Victoria Smalc and Radena Salmon. The show will be dedicated to my brother and others who are serving to protect our freedom. I will perform, Destiny and my new fun high energy song, Wanna BE A DJ. I'm looking forward to thanking each and every service member and family member and I just plan to help them have a great time. I hope they all bring along their dancing shoes!"

According to Catherine R. Laporte, "This private concert is perfect because it honors both the military and their families. As a former SP4 in the Army, stationed in Europe and Texas, this week has even more special meaning, as I remember passing through the processing center on Fort Hood. Further, my father was a Marine and Air Force EOD specialist and retired with over 23 years of service. I have brothers who joined the Marines, Air Force, and Navy so we almost have every service covered! Our family traveled with my father and during special assignments, my mother held down the household. I have been both active duty and a family member so I know the sacrifices that our military and their families live day-in and day-out." Laporte adds, "It's an honor just to be a part of the day. I want the military members and their families to know that our country is squarely behind them and we appreciate and thank them for their service." Laporte continues, "President Barack Obama, proclaimed November as Military Family Appreciation month and Secretary of the Army John McHugh, Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. George W. Casey Jr. and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Kenneth Preston signed a letter recognizing the observance and expressing their commitment to military families recently as well. amberRose Marie and I especially look forward to bringing on a fun show that families can enjoy together, in the spirit of that commitment in recognizing and honoring both our active duty military and their families, on November 11th at the Thanks For Serving concert."

amberRose Marie (small "a", two "r", second "R" caps - one word, amberRose then Marie) blasted onto the dance music scene with the release of her debut single, Destiny which was named one of the top 150 dance songs in the USA, and her recent hit Wanna Be A DJ is heard in over 22 countries, both songs landing on the Billboard chart for over 30 weeks. Destiny and Wanna Be A DJ went on to be a Top 10 on the DJ Times and other prestigious charts around the globe, landing in the global Top 100. amberRose Marie, no stranger to dedicating herself to military support organizations, and not for profits which include Lifebeat-The Music Industry Fights Aids, LIGALY, Friends of Karen and other youth, and women organizations, hopes to take her show worldwide to military members around the globe.
