MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Sunalo Official Website) - Miami's own Sunalo will release its highly anticipated live album November 28th at local live-music venue, Transit Lounge, in downtown Miami. The 8-piece group, self-described as the 'Afro-Latin-baby-makin'-descarga-funk' band, has been compared to the likes of Ozomatli, Kinky, and Santana, mixing Latin rhythms with funk and rock. The new album titled 'Live at Transit' was recorded in front of over 1,500 fans during a three-night concert series blowout, and consists of 10 new tracks. The album will be released under the band's own independent label, Sunalo Music Inc. Amin DeJesus, vocalist, commented, 'I think `Live at Transit' captures the blood, sweat and tears of the band and the Miami sound and scene, and we are pleased to finally be releasing this effort.'

Created in 2002 in the vibrant neighborhood of Little Havana, the band's members are Amin DeJesus on lead vocals, Carlos 'Kako' Guzman on bass, Tony 'Smurphio' Laurencio on keyboard and vocals, Allan Ramos on percussion, JJ Freire on drums (formerly with Bacilos), Juan Turros on sax, flute and percussion, Chad Bernstein on trombone and conch shells, and Gerard Glecier on guitar. Together they make a sound so unique that the New York Times and the Boston Globe have all taken notice.

The music is a diverse and unique blend of Latin funk with afro beat, jazz, reggae, rock and hip-hop influences, often called the Miami sound personified. The group combines a driving horn section, up-tempo percussion, soulful rock and blues guitar, powerful Spanish and English lyrics, and intoxicating rap vocals. The music is ageless and so diverse that it crosses all races and cultures.

The event will take place Saturday, November 28th at Transit Lounge, located at 729 SW 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida at 11:30 p.m. The night will begin with an invitation-only press and VIP meet-and-greet with the band at 9:30 p.m., where VIP guests will hear 'Live at Transit' for the first time along with a video montage of their journey during the making of this live album. Followed by a live performance of all 11 tracks at 11:30 p.m., at Transit's brand-new outdoor patio stage, which will be unveiled just for the occasion.

'Live at Transit' will be available through their website www.SunaloMusic.com, iTunes or CD Baby, with major independent label distribution plans in negotiations along with a tour for 2010.
