LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ International Talent Organization) - GRAMMY nominee and eight time Native American Music Award (NAMMYs) winner Jana Mashonee and music producer/director Stephan Galfas took home two Best Music Video awards on the same night at opposite ends of the United States. The American Indian Film Festival held on November 15 in San Francisco, awarded Jana and Stephan Best Music Video for her single 'A Change is Gonna Come.' On the other side of the country in South Carolina, Jana and Stephan also won Best Music Video at the 12th Annual Native American Indian Film & Video Awards for 'The Enlightened Time' from her album, American Indian Story. Jana and Stephan produced both videos with Stephan taking the director's chair.

'What an awesome night,' said Stephan Galfas, 'two awards for two different videos on the same night on opposite sides of the country. This is beyond an honor. We're very grateful. Both productions were a blast to do, a labor of love. Our good friend Derek Miller was incredible to work with and helped make 'A Change is Gonna Come' very special.'

Jana Mashonee was recently awarded her eighth NAMMY for Song of the Year for 'A Change is Gonna Come.' 'This song is very close to my heart,' said Jana. 'It's very gratifying to be recognized for our work. I'm truly honored and totally psyched!'

Since 1975, the American Indian Film Festival, held every year in San Francisco, has presented more than 2000 films and videos. Over its twelve-year history, the annual festival of Native American Indian Video & Film has shown a variety of evocative short films that has captured the imagination of audiences and brought tears of sorrow and joy to the eyes of viewers.

Jana Mashonee is a GRAMMY nominee and her previous NAMMY Awards have included Artist of the Year, Best Pop Artist, Record of the Year and Best Producer, Stephan Galfas.
