LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ C. Rosales Publicity) - Emerging Tijuana based musical quartet Faro, releases their highly anticipated debut self titled EP, FARO November 24th. FARO a four song sneak peak of their full length album due out next year features the hit single Siempre Fue and will be available at select music retailers and in digital format via ITunes. Combining a variety of genres including electronica, Jazz, funk, pop and rock, Faro's sound is as vivid as it is melancholy. Faro's upcoming EP is a unique 20-minute musical journey of cross genre pairings.

The band's multi-cultural upbringing is represented throughout the EP. As the tracks move from surreal dreamy tunes to upbeat darker melodies. FARO is highly influenced by the band's childhood memories growing up in the Tijuana border town. 'FARO represents the Tijuana way of life,' says vocalist Monica Camacho. 'Tijuana has no style or labels just like our music. When we were working on the EP we wanted to create a different musical sound.' The end result is a four song EP with no musical boundaries. A juxtaposition of spacious harmonic textures and suspended melodies coupled with sensitive timbric shades. FARO takes listeners on a cross genre musical journey from the haunting melodies of Splendid to the innocent, sweet sound of Twinkle. Siempre Fue, the band's only song in Spanish is beautifully thematic with deep electronic beats and dreamlike vocals highlighting the band's unique sound.

Celebrating the US EP release, Faro will perform a very special show at Dakota Lounge on November 24th. The group is excited to celebrate their US EP release in Santa Monica, a community that has shown such strong support of the new band. 'It's been a long time coming for this opportunity to express what we are and where we came from as a band,' says Jorge Villanueva.
