LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Kut Official Website) - On the back of their Club NME playlisted debut double A-side 'Doesn't Matter Anyway / Closure', UK indie rock trio The Kut are putting the finishes touches to their first album and are now available for interview. The Kut's status as one of the country?s hottest new bands was confirmed after front-woman Maha struck a deal with one of the biggest names in the music industry; Marshall Amplification. Frontwoman of the trio Maha has been described as a 'Slash/Linda Perry hybrid' and with a UK tour earlier this year that earned glowing reviews across the board, the all-girl three piece are looking like making a big splash in 2010.

Here's what people have said so far about The Kut:

If your interpretation of girl power favours a Lynchian landscape crossed with Edward Scissorhands and fishnet stockings, and you have dreams where the Sugababes are locked in a cell for crimes of aural assault while you crowdsurf in a sweaty venue to hard edged indie rock, then The Kut are definitely for you. Strummer Online

Yeah, just go ahead and forget anything that sound like hype or gimmick about this band. I friggin' love these girls. Rock hasn't been this much fun in ages. Racer, Ripple Music

'The Kut meshes the best of garage, dub, rock and the erstwhile sensibilities of pop to create an original and ear-grabbing sound. Check this band out' - Puck, Pucknation.com

What makes [Doesn?t Matter Anyway] a cracking tune is that it's a punchy three and a bit minutes in duration and has everything you'd want from a guitar-driven punkpop song Whisperin and Hollerin 9/10
