"This has been a really fun project to produce," said Joe Spadaro, Founder & Pres at American Laundromat Records. "We're so grateful to all the artists that donated their valuable time and remarkable talent to this album. The one thing I love about producing compilations is, with so many artists involved, the projects often take on a life and energy of their own. This was certainly the case with Sing Me To Sleep... it's truly been a collaborative effort, and we cannot wait to share the tracks with everyone."
"When so much creativity and generosity come together for a good cause, one can only describe it as magical," remarked Co-Producer and Art Director, Kate Garchinsky. "Our goal with 'Sing Me To Sleep' has been to fill a void in independent music that appeals to both the adult indie fan and their children, an exploding demographic, while supporting the Valerie Fund. Many of our artists have little ones of their own. Their enthusiasm for this new 'Indie For Kids' genre is evident in the playfulness of their recordings. I believe much good will spring from this project."
Sing Me To Sleep was produced by Joseph H. Spadaro and Kate Garchinsky, mastered by Sean Glonek at SRG Studios (They Might Be Giants, Matthew Sweet, Frank Black, OK Go), and all album art & project designs by Kate Garchinsky (https://www.penguinart.com).

The Valerie Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established in 1976 in memory of nine-year-old Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue. The Valerie Fund's mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. Families turn to The Valerie Fund because of the unique combination of medical care, counseling, and other services it provides.
The Valerie Fund Children's Centers comprise the largest network of healthcare facilities for children with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey, and one of the largest in the nation. We host over 35,000 patient visits each year. Today there are seven Valerie Fund Children's Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders located in major hospitals in New Jersey, New York, and the Philadelphia area providing caring, comprehensive, state-of-the-art outpatient health care to more than 5,000 children and their families each year. This network means that sick children are able to receive care close to their homes. Before The Valerie Fund, many children "such as Valerie Goldstein" had to travel long distances because the treatment they needed was available only at major medical facilities located in large cities.
At The Valerie Fund Centers, patients receive far more than treatment for their physical illnesses. Our philosophy is that to truly heal the children with whose care we are entrusted, we must treat them emotionally, socially, and developmentally, as well as medically. Childhood disease strikes not only the child, but the entire family. When a child is a patient at a Valerie Fund Center, a staff of social workers, counselors, psychologists, and child-life specialists enfold the child and the family in a blanket of ongoing, individualized care. We firmly believe this approach is the most effective way to fight childhood disease. More about The Valerie Fun can be found at https://www.thevaleriefund.org
