MIAMI, Florida (Latin Grammys Website) - Ricky Martin, Alexandre Pires with Kelly Clarkson, Thalia, Bacilos, and Molotov will perform live on the 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards telecast September 3, it was announced today by the Latin Recording Academy. With more than 100 countries tuning in, the awards will be broadcast from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on the CBS Television Network from 9 - 11 p.m. (ET/PT) domestically and distributed internationally through CBS Broadcast International. The 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards features 40 award categories - including four general categories: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist. This announcement marks the first official naming of performers. Additional performers and presenters will be announced shortly.

Performers include: International star, Grammy Award winner and Latin Grammy winner Ricky Martin ("Tal Vez" - performed by Martin - earned songwriter Franco De Vita a nomination for Song Of The Year for this year's Latin Grammys)
Brazilian singer and nominee (Album Of The Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Album) Alexandre Pires, joined by multi-platinum artist and "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson
Crossover superstar and Best Female Pop Vocal Album nominee Thalia
Grammy-winning, Miami-based rock band Bacilos (with nods this year for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best Pop Album By A Duo Or Group With Vocal) and
Mexican rap-metal group Molotov (currently nominated for Record Of The Year, Best Rock Album By A Duo Or Group With Vocal, and Best Music Video).

The 4th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be supported on radio via the Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation and Westwood One worldwide, and highlighted on the Internet at LatinGrammy.com, AOL Keyword: Latin Grammy or AOL Keyword: Grammy Latino for Spanish coverage.
