(Top40 Charts/ Grupo Salinas Official Website) - Grupo Salinas, a group of dynamic, fast- growing and technologically advanced companies deeply committed to the modernization of the countries in which they operate, created by Mexican entrepreneur Ricardo B. Salinas (www.ricardosalinas.com), is proud to celebrate the presentation of the "Medalla Mozart 2010" to its founder, Ricardo Salinas, for his effort in the promotion, preservation and diffusion of academic music through the non-profit organization Fundacion Azteca and the Orquesta Sinfonica Esperanza Azteca youth orchestra.

The Orquesta Sinfonica Esperanza Azteca is part of "Programa Musical Esperanza Azteca" (PROMESA), a project sponsored by Grupo Salinas and Fundacion Azteca to educate youth in excellence, teamwork and high self-esteem through classical music training and practice.

"Orquesta Sinfonica Esperanza Azteca is an example of what music can do to promote teamwork, a love of the arts, concentration, development. In short, the creation of values. It's much more than music. It's the formation of our youth," said Ricardo Salinas.

Mr. Salinas was one of four people to receive Mozart awards on January 29 in Xalapa, Veracruz. Other recipients included Luis Samuel Saloma and Aurora Serratos for merit and lifetime achievement, as well as Fernando de la Mora for performance.

The Medalla Mozart is presented by the Academia Medalla Mozart, A.C., with the support of the Austrian Embassador to Mexico, Dr. Werner Druml and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA). Special thanks go out for this year's ceremony to the Government of the State of Veracruz, the Universidad Veracruzana and the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM).
