LONDON, UK (S Club Fans Website) - It's six months jail time for Steven Hidley, the 41-year-old British man accused of stalking S Club star Tina Barrett. Hidley bombarded Tina with explicit letters and threatening emails. One e-mail warned that a sniper would shoot the star on an S Club tour of Canada and in a separate message, he threatened to pollute bottles of Sunny Delight, the drink which the band was promoting.
Hidley suffers from psychological problems but the judge found the offences so serious that jail time was the only option.

In other S Club news, Rachel Stevens is about to embark upon a solo career under the guidance of pop guru Simon Fuller. S Club parted ways in May and is expected to spawn several solo careers.
