New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) - Formed in Chicago, IL and now based out of Brooklyn, electro-pop duo Pretty Good Dance Moves will release their long-awaited new EP, PGDM on March 9.
The duo, Jimmy Giannapoulos and Aaron Allieta, created an EP full of slinky synthesizers and seductive dance beats. The duo scoured the globe for vocalists and found voices to complement their laid-back, synth-pop sound, recruiting several important guest stars, including Chicago vocalist Angelina Lucero and singer-songwriter Heather Christian.
You can hear the results on the bands single Leave Me Alone, which features Swedish pop legend Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn & John on vocals and also as co-writer. Stereogum premiered the track, calling it a triumphant little electro-pop track that tickles hearts and synths.

"entrancing mix of organic and electronic sounds. - Chicago Sun-Times

"For those who are disappointed that they havent received any musical mail from the Postal Service recently, Pretty Good Dance Moves are here to silence your longing." - SPIN.COM

Glossy electro-pop has never been as endearing as the kind played by this Chicago-Brooklyn trio... -Daily Herald

Pretty Good Dance Moves first EP was released in 2006. Gaining some local attention in Chicago, the EP caught on in Seattle, where influential radio station KEXP invited the band into the studio for an exclusive performance. The station later called the performance the best in-studio of the year and SPIN.com premiered their video for Demons Dancing, starring Flight of the Conchords Kristen Schaal!

To celebrate their upcoming release, Pretty Good Dance Moves are headlining two nights at Schubas, March 12th and 13th, in their hometown of Chicago. From there, they head to Austin for SXSW!
