New York (Top40 Charts/ Mountain Apple Company Hawaii) - Keli'i Kaneali'i, world-renowned Hawaiian recording artist, will lead a free tour of Northern California Borders stores in March 2010, bringing the music, books and hula of the Hawaiian Islands to cities such as Sand City, Sunnyvale, Sacramento and Pleasant Hill. Kaneali'i is a founding member of the legendary duo HAPA and is recognized as one of the fathers of "the sound of Maui." At Borders, Kaneali'i will perform songs from his new CD "Kaua'i," as well as fan favorites from the HAPA song collection. Kaneali'i will also read from Dr. Carolan's children's book "Where Are My Slippers?" for which he provided music and narration.

Joining Kaneali'i on this unique tour are steel guitarist Ken Emerson; Hawaiian authors Auntie Kealoha, Bill Riddle, Taupouri Tangaro, Lurline McGregor, Makana Risser Chai; Joanna Carolan (illustrator of "Where Are My Slippers?"); and kumu hula soloist Healani Youn.
