New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Hell-raising rockers American Bang will release their self-titled major-label debut album for Reprise Records this spring 2010. The first single, 'Wild & Young,' officially hits radio on March 8th, with early spins across the country already kicking in this week. The instantly anthemic debut track of 'Wild & Young,' along with the album's pounding and gritty opener, 'Whiskey Walk,' is currently available online via all major online retailers, including iTunes.

Produced by the legendary Bob Rock, American Bang is a memorable and melodic introduction to the Nashville-based rock group. The album captures the amazing grace and guts of the band's deep musical roots and Southern accent, proving American Bang shoots straight at the heart of American rock 'n roll.

'From the first demos that were sent to me, I felt there was something special and different about this band,' says Rock, who is known for his work with Metallica, Aerosmith, and Mo"tley Cru"e. 'They had a connection to some of my favorite classic rock bands - like Tom Petty, Humble Pie, and Lynyrd Skynyrd - but it wasn't just nostalgia. There was a modern side to them as well. It actually kicked my ass, which doesn't happen much these days. After I saw them live, I knew I had to produce their album. It was really important for us to capture their live feel in the studio. When you hear the album, you'll know what it's like to see them live. And when you see them live, you'll understand what I see in American Bang. That rock 'n roll is alive and well in America.'

American Bang is Jaren Johnston (lead singer / guitar), Ben Brown (lead guitar), Kelby Ray (bass), and Neil Mason (drums).
