Canadian Music Week 2010 Shines The Spotlight On India

TORONTO, CANADA (Top40 Charts/ Canadian Music Fest) - Canadian Music Week 2010 brings India to your doorstep. On Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12, CMW delegates will get an insider's look at the world's second fastest-growing economy through panels and one-on-one meetings held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

Sponsored by the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canadian Music Week's Spotlight on India serves to open new markets and sales opportunities for music companies worldwide while exploiting Ontario's cultural mosaic. It endeavors to promote Indo-Canadian artists to their natural markets overseas while fostering direct contact between the province and international buyers, and strengthening business relationships with India.

As part of the Spotlight, Canadian Music Week will be hosting an Indian Music Showcase. Taking place over two nights at Revival on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12, the showcase will feature performances by Farid Khan, Zameer, jsin, Delhi 2 Dublin, The Kominas, Prita Chhabra, Gurpreet Chana, Shobha, JT & MC JD Roadshow, The Bilz & Kashif and En Karma.
