New York (Top40 Charts/ Mark Isham Official Website) - Grammy Award winning and critically acclaimed jazz trumpeter Mark Isham, www.isham.com , will take the stage with his band Houston Street on Sunday, February 28, 2010. The show will be at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood located at 6725 West Sunset Boulevard from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Tickets can be purchased for $20 online at www.catalinajazzclub.com. The evening's show will be recorded and Isham will be mixing the performance himself afterwards.

Houston Street is Mark Isham's latest musical endeavor. The group explores a wide variety of music, including musical influences ranging from Radiohead and Ornette Coleman to Lennon and McCartney, by tearing it down to its basics and building it back up again through collective improvisation. Isham's mesmerizing jazz trumpet will be accompanied by Jeff Babko on keys, Doug Lunn on bass, and Tom Brechtlein on drums.
