AUSTIN, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Hemoptysis Official Website/ SXSW) - L.A. / Phoenix Music Awards 2009 "Metal Artists of the Year", HEMOPTYSIS, are poised to unleash their unique blend of music, passion, and aggression upon the citizens of The Great State of Texas. The trip to Austin marks the Arizona thrashers' first South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival showcase. It also coincides with the band's video release of the Ryan Greene-produced single, Shadow of Death.

The SXSW Music and Media Conference is one of the largest music festivals in the United States. It showcases hundreds of musical acts from around the globe on over eighty stages in downtown Austin, Texas.

Hemoptysis will be performing at the historic Scoot Inn, claimed to be one of the oldest running bars in Texas, founded in 1871. The band is set to commandeer the old railroad saloon on March 20, 2010 at 8:00PM.
