Burbank, CA (Top40 Charts/ Warner Brothers Records) - Florida punk band Against Me! have announced the track-listing and release date for their upcoming new album "White Crosses." The album, the band's second for Sire Records, will be released on June 8th, 2010. Against Me! will also release a digital EP titled "I Was a Teenage Anarchist," which will be available on iTunes beginning April 20th, 2010. Please see below for track-listings. The video "Rapid Decompression," recently premiered on AOL Spinner and can be viewed on the band's website: www.againstme.net

"White Crosses" will be released in several configurations, including a standard CD, a limited-edition CD version, as well as a vinyl version, and an EP containing new music.

"White Crosses" was produced by veteran producer Butch Vig (Green Day, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins) who also produced Against Me!'s 2007 album "New Wave." The decision to work with Vig again was a no-brainer. "He understands our band and brings tons of great ideas to the table," says frontman Tom Gabel. "Beyond the stature of his past work he is also one of the most genuine people I've ever met."

Gabel began writing the songs on "White Crosses" more than a year and a half ago. Pre-production with Vig began in early July and the band, which also includes guitarist James Bowman, bassist Andrew Seward, and new drummer George Rebelo (formerly of Hot Water Music) began tracking in last August.

As far as the album's overall direction, "I feel like we are constantly pushing ourselves to better what we did on the previous record," Gabel says. "'New Wave' was a great album to make, and now we want to show another side of the band. The new songs feel like a natural progression of where we should be at. Our intentions, as always, are to deliver the best record we can possible make."

Against Me! spent the past two years touring non-stop in support of "New Wave," which was released by Sire Records in July 2007. Called "the most invigorating, zeitgeist-capturing rock album in years" by Spin, "New Wave" was named the magazine's "Album of the Year," and also appeared in the Top 10 on Rolling Stone, Blender, and MTV.com's year-end "Best Album" lists. "New Wave" spawned two singles, "White People for Peace" and "Thrash Unreal," which became the band's first single to chart in the U.S. when it climbed to No. 11 on the Modern Rock chart.
