Among the recipients to be presented by Gunther Schuller, Honorary Chair of the Benefit Committee, will be Milton Babbitt, one of the fathers of American music; cellist Jessie Reagen Mann and fashion designer Michael Kaye. Hosted by Bill Ritter of ABC Eyewitness News, the Gala will aim to raise funds for the Foundation, which grants education awards to help disadvantaged children gain a comprehensive education at prestigious musical institutions in New York City and Boston.
