New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ The Max Reger Foundation of America) - The Max Reger Foundation of America (MRFOA) is pleased to announce the 2010 Inaugural Gala, to be held on May 6th, honoring three outstanding artists. Among the recipients to be presented by Gunther Schuller, Honorary Chair of the Benefit Committee, will be Milton Babbitt, one of the fathers of American music; cellist Jessie Reagen Mann and fashion designer Michael Kaye. Hosted by Bill Ritter of ABC Eyewitness News, the Gala will aim to raise funds for the Foundation, which grants education awards to help disadvantaged children gain a comprehensive education at prestigious musical institutions in New York City and Boston.

"It is truly a privilege to honor these extraordinary individuals at the 2010 Gala," said David V. Cox, Founder and Chairman of MRFOA. "This is a wonderful endorsement of the organization's commitment to help recognize the success of talented young musicians."

The inspiring evening will include performances by MRFOA Ambassador Award recipient and pianist Phuong Nghi Pham, as well as Jessie Reagen Mann and the Schuller Jazz Trio. Attendees will also be some of the first to see the latest from Michael Kaye Couture in an exclusive fashion show.
