Sammy Hagar 'Long Road To Cabo' is coming out

SAN FRANCISCO (BMG press release/Sammy Hagar Fans Website) - A live DVD, "Long Road to Cabo," documenting (for the most part) Sammy's 2002 summer tour with the Waboritas is out today. Sammy had four cameras rolling 24/7, resulting in over three hundred hours of material being shot and edited, with a combination of live concert performances, behind-the-scenes interviews, events, candid conversation and guest appearances from pals Michael Anthony, Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, Gary Cherone and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

If all this isn't enough for any die hard Red Head and/or music fan, a bonus disc with over four hours of additional material is featured.

In conjunction with the DVD release, events took place in multiple cities throughout the U.S. with more planned over the next few months. Each is/will be unique in what it offers to the fans. The Los Angeles DVD premiere was followed with a live radio broadcast and an acoustic performance by Sammy and the Wabos with special surprise guests, Mickey Hart and Bob Weir of The Dead and Jerry Cantrell, formerly of Alice in Chains.
