USA Charts: DMXs' new album record and Rolling Stones return to the top

NEW YORK (DMX/Rolling Stones websites) - DMX became the first artist in the history of the US albums chart to have his first five albums debut at No 1. The rapper's latest release Grand Champ, entered the chart at No 1 this week after selling 312,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan. Although the set debuted at No 1, it sold fewer units in its first week than DMX's last release 2001's Great Depression, which moved 440,000 copies in its first week.
In the album charts rapper DMX HAS scored his fifth consecutive No. 1 album with The Grand Champ. The album, hyped as the rapper's final release, means he becomes the only artist in the history of the Billboard 200 to reach No 1 with his first five albums.

A Perfect Circle debut at two with Thirteenth Step and Erykah Badu debuts at three with Worldwide Underground.
David Bowie's Reality is new at No. 29 selling 33,000 copies.

In the US sales singles chart, the Rolling Stones have topped it with a dance remix of their 1968 classic Sympathy For The Devil.
The track, which has been remixed by Fatboy Slim and the Neptunes, replaces Elvis Presley's Rubberneckin' by a mere 10 copies, 8,610 to 8,600.
