New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ LOGO) - Logo, the entertainment network for gays, lesbians, their families and friends announced today that pop icon Kylie Minogue will host the 100th episode of NewNowNext PopLab, the destination for up-and-coming party music in all its forms, on Tuesday, August 3 at 7/6C.

For more than 20 years, Kylie Minogue has been a global force in pop music. She is one of the world's most successful female artists with more than 60 million albums sold worldwide and 50 hit singles, including the U.S. Billboard dance-chart toppers "Can't Get You Out of My Head," "Love At First Sight," and the Grammy-Award winning "Come Into My World." She has received countless awards and has performed 8 sold-out world tours. The press recently announced Minogue as the first solo artist in U.K. history to have four number one albums in four different decades.

Minogue's highly anticipated album, "Aphrodite," was released on July 6th in the U.S. and debuted in the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Her hit single "All the Lovers" currently reigns amongst the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart. Her sexy, steamy music video "All The Lovers" had its U.S. premiere on Logo on June 8th.

NewNowNext PopLab is an extension of Logo's successful NewNowNext brand, which boasts two separate music series: NewNowNext Music and NewNowNext PopLab. What NewNowNext Music is for alternative, under-the-radar music, NewNowNext PopLab is its pop-glossy counterpart. The show infuses the music of established icons including Madonna, Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce with the Top 40 stars and music divas of tomorrow including Ke$ha, Agnes and Shontelle. NewNowNext PopLab brings the club party home to create a mesh of heavy hitting collection of pop music that'll never leave your head.

NewNowNext PopLab also boasts Lady Gaga as its first host in 2008, the same time Lady Gaga was just emerging in the music scene with her burgeoning hit "Just Dance." Past hosts have included superstars such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, Kelis, Nicole Scherzinger of "The Pussycast Dolls," Lily Allen, MIKA and Keri Hilson.

With NewNowNext Music and NewNowNext PopLab, Logo solidifies its position as the only place for gay and lesbian music lovers to stay up to date on rising talent and music geared toward the gay and lesbian community. Between weekly airings of the show viewers can go to NewNowNext.com, the gay guide to pop culture, to get the latest on music, fashion, television and celebrity gossip.
Viewers can also go to LogoTV.com to watch NewNowNext PopLab music videos and exclusive interviews, listen to pre-release albums, and discover new gay and lesbian artists.
