LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Vexiom Corporation) - VMG Worldwide, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vexiom Corporation, is one of the world's most preeminent and diversified sports, entertainment, and media companies, is proud to announce the signing of well respected Latin Jazz recording artist and producer Bob DeSena to an exclusive worldwide agreement. VMG Worldwide will also handle global marketing for his upcoming third album "After Midnight" which is scheduled to be released late 2010. "We are very excited for the opportunity to work with Bob DeSena, and assist the launch of his upcoming album release. Bob DeSena is a very talented musician and we are anticipating a very successful relationship." said Tyler Barr, CEO of VMG Worldwide.

Bob DeSena was born in Northern California in 1958 both literally and figuratively into the world of Latin Jazz. DeSena would begin his musical career playing guitar and drums at a very young age. Growing up in the age and society of music of the 1970's his very impressive talent was influenced early on by groups including Santana, Tower of Power, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, and Malo. Some more mainstream influences include Herb Alpert, Freddie Hubbard, and Maynard Ferguson. These very talented groups and artists helped to not only increase DeSena's interests in music, but also helped to shape his desire to produce his own music. This new desire helped to spark a new interest for Bob, and he began to play the trumpet. He learned the trumpet and played through high school in big bands and jazz bands alike.

After his high school days his talent and passion took him to various dance clubs and highly sought after social engagements where DeSena played with local Top-40 bands. Bob next founded a seven-piece Latin Rock group and began recording demos while being sought after to perform in various local night clubs in the San Francisco Bay area.

It was at at a local jazz concert that Bob DeSena was introduced to a jazz artist that would become one of the major, if not the major, influence on Bob's musical career. This man was the legendary vibraphonist Roy Ayers. Bob listened in awe and watched in amazement at Ayers musical genius and flare for which he performed. Mr. Ayers became a mentor to Bob who would help Bob to discover and develop his new passion, the vibes and the music it would create. By the early 1980's DeSena was further influenced by artists such as Cal Tjader, Tito Puente, and Pancho Sanchez. In 1984 he moved his family to Los Angeles in what would become a prosperous beginning of a career in the entertainment industry. By this time DeSena was very passionately infatuated with the sound of the vibes and its contribution to Latin music. It was at this point that he decided to make the investment which would take his musical endeavors to a higher level and studied with Tony Kol, a percussionist for the famous Tonight Show Band with Johnny Carson.

In 1996, after a few years of playing with several local groups in the Los Angeles area, DeSena was approached by President of Discos Dos Coronas Bill Lazerus. Discos Dos Coronas is a Los Angeles based label that specializes in the recording and distribution of Latin music. Lazerus offered Bob the opportunity to record his own CD as a solo artist.

After carefully considering this opportunity for over a year Bob graciously and ecstatically agreed to do so. He felt the timing was finally right, and with the assistance of Composer and Pianist Bob Luna and a variety of other multi-talented musicians, twelve original songs were developed for the 1999 release of his first solo project "All That (Latin) Jazz.

His second album, "Going Latin on Jazz Street", is a collaborated effort with Pianist/Arranger Bob Sink who is also Bob's Musical Director. Bob DeSena's current group consists of very talented musicians, making for an entertaining and vibrant ensemble that performs classic standards and Latin standards with an energetic feel.

Bob DeSena firmly believes in the philosophy of enjoying the music and remembering the experience. Whether he plays vibes, trumpet/flugel horn, or sings Bob DeSena always gives a dynamic performance. He enjoys interacting with his audience, and his fans will see just that when he reaches into the crowd at his shows. DeSena and his band are truly a treat to listen to for any who enjoy the cool and swinging Latin Jazz sound, and like many of the legends of the past have done before him; Bob DeSena carries the torch of Latin Jazz in fine fashion. Bob is a man of many talents, DeSena is not one to slow down. Aside from preparing for his third album release Bob is also an aspiring actor. He will play the lead role in the upcoming film "Quixote in Los Angeles" which is presently in production with a release date that is still to be determined.
