LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ At Jazz Official Website) - The RAH Band was formed by Richard Anthony Hewson in 1977 and their first hit was the chart smash 'The Crunch'. This went top ten in UK and Europe. The RAH Band went on to have jazz funk club hits such as 'Falcon' and Slide'. But for the more disco & jazzfunk minded fans there was also a plethora of deeper joints oozing from The RAH Band studio back in the day, one of which was the untamable 'Messages From The Stars' a freaky & quirky old school jazzfunk number with a sweet sugary spaced-out vocal. Messages From The Stars is such a favourite stitch in time for Martin 'Atjazz' that he could not help but contact the man behind this adorable song to see if any further versions could be reworked in order to keep the stars burning and the answer was a big YES!. Richard started digging through his 1/4' tapes and found the vocal files, he sent them over and after a number of remixing sessions we are now proud to bring you 'Messages From The Stars (Atjazz Remixes)' and we hope you love them as much as we do. Long live 'The RAH Band'. Richard Anthony Hewson not content with his own amazing productions from his analogue world also worked with some of the best known songwriters and musician to grace this planet including 'The Beatles, Herbie Hancock, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac & The Bee Gees to name only a few. This only scratches the surface of what The RAH Band are about and now you can find more songs then ever before on iTunes. Also lookout for 'Atjazz Feat. Sarah Jane Morris - Fantasy (The RAH Band Remix)' out now on all good online stores.
