New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ DaSBro Enterprise) - 11-year old Philippine-American singing sensation NINA WAGA MOJARES has been selected by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to sing 'America the Beautiful' at the 2010 US Open Tennis Championship, Queens, NY. NINA will be performing on center court on September 8, 2010 during the quarter finals.

NINA was selected to perform at the 2010 US Open based on her audition at the US Open Casting Call held at Radio City Music Hall (in Manhattan) this past June. 258 children aged 12-and-under from across the country came out and auditioned for the chance to sing at this year's US Open. Each child performed 'America the Beautiful' in front of three celebrity judges: Justin Chon from the Twilight Saga; Ashley Roberts, formerly of the Pussycat Dolls; and actor/singer Andrew Seeley who will be starring in a new television series this fall, Glory Daze. Only 14 children were selected to sing at this year's US Open. NINA received her letter of congratulations and invitation from the USTA in mid-July. "I'm honored and thrilled to have been selected to sing at the US Open. It's a dream come true," proclaimed the talented NINA.

The US Open is held annually over a two week period in late August and September at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, in Queens, NY. It is highest attended annual sporting event in the world with over 700,000 fans on site and a worldwide television audience in over 185 countries. The US Open has been chronologically the fourth and final Grand Slam tennis tournament (preceded by the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon). www.usopen.org

Following their performance, NINA and Legit received a standing ovation from the audience, loud cheers, and thundering applause. Ms. Orbourne said to NINA "You have a great stage presence. You're confident.... You're a very talented young girl".

She has also appeared on NBC's "Today Show", and was chosen by the producers of the nationally syndicated "Maury" (Povich) tv show to become part of "Maury's Most Talented Kids 2010" episode.
