Music Awards (The IMAs), the international awards for independent bands and fans, has announced that legendary
Rolling Stones founding member
Keith Richards has joined a stellar line-up of new and returning industry luminaries to determine the winners of The Independent
Music Awards' 10th annual program, currently accepting submissions.
Other first-time judges participating in The IMAs milestone program include British soul singer Seal, Bush leader Gavin Rossdale, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz, singer-songwriter Jesse Harris, OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder, Lincoln Center Director of Public Programming Bill Bragin, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Artistic Director Anne Saunders, and Playtone Productions Music Supervisor Delphine Robertson, among others.
These new panelists will enhance a diverse group of veteran IMA judges which include: Tom Waits, Kathleen Brennan, Suzanne Vega, Pete Wentz, Ozzy Osbourne, Bettye LaVette, McCoy Tyner, Judy Collins, Joe Perry, Jim Lauderdale, Shelby Lynne, Toots Hibbert, Arturo Sandoval, Kevin Lyman (Warped Tour), Dalis Allen (Kerville Folk Festival), Anthony DeCurtis (Rolling Stone) and others.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The Independent Music Awards is a unique international program that connects independent musicians to new audiences and revenue opportunities.
Self-released and independent label talent from 6 continents submit their work for honors consideration in 70 album, song, music video and design categories. Additionally, The IMAs provide year-long marketing initiatives that will promote winners and nominees to nearly one billion music consumers worldwide.
In addition to the program's influential industry judges, music fans from around the world vote online in the annual Vox Pop award for their favorite artists culled from The IMA nominees.
Submissions for The 10th IMAs close at midnight on October 1, 2010. More than 250 music, video and design Nominees will be announced in December. The IMA 10 Winners will be announced in February 2011.
