New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Bernie Grundman Mastering) - LA's archetypal punk pioneers Bad Religion have mastered their new album, "The Dissent of Man," at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood. Co-founder Brett Gurewitz worked with mastering engineer Brian "Big Bass" Gardner and producer Joe Barresi to finalize the project that marks the 30-year anniversary of the band.

Co-Founder Brett Gurewitz Calls on Brian "Big Bass" Gardner

Teaming up once again with producer Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Tool) Bad Religion has recorded 16 songs that embody their signature high energy punk rock, as well as new tunes with a surprising melodic and introspective edge.

"Being a new parent has colored my whole world," remarked Brett Gurewitz. "As a result I've written songs that at least for me, are somewhat less angsty and more introspective and vulnerable. The experience has emboldened me to take some creative risks as a songwriter that I've not allowed myself to take before."

Bad Religion vocalist and co-founder Greg Graffin added, "We wouldn't embark on this new creative endeavor, Brett wouldn't have embarked on parenthood, and I wouldn't have embarked on writing my first book, "Anarchy Evolution," if we hadn't reached a place in our lives where we felt the confidence that we had something to offer. That's what these songs represent."

Bad Religion recently debuted two new songs, "Resist Stance" and "Won't Somebody," during a series of 30th Anniversary shows on their current world tour. The band's legions of devoted fans have launched blogs and overwhelmed message boards in support of "The Dissent of Man," the punk rockers' 15th studio album, which is slated for September 28 release on Epitaph Records.
