NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Allman Brothers Band Official Website) - The Allman Brothers Band has confirmed additional cities for their fall tour. The dates include eight shows beginning November 11 and their first performance at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. The Philadelphia concert will mark the band's first shows since Gregg Allman's successful liver transplant in June. The iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band - Allman (vocals and keyboards), Butch Trucks (drums and tympani), Jaimoe (drums), Warren Haynes (vocals, lead and slide guitar), Derek Trucks (slide and lead guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass) and Marc Quinones (congas and percussion) - will perform lengthy "evening with" sets each night. The group had been forced to cancel a June 26 appearance at Eric Clapton's "Crossroads" festival, as a liver became available for Allman, who is continuing to recover. Tickets for the additional four shows go on sale in September. For all the latest, visit allmanbrothersband.com.
