Rancho Palos Verdes,CA (Top40 Charts/ Wexford Institute) - After standing ovations in San Francisco and Long Beach, California, Anthony Kearns continues a unique concert tour to help improve education for children across the U.S. In the concert tour, sponsored by Wexford Institute, Kearns sings favorite songs of Ireland, Broadway and opera. The next stops for Kearns are in Columbus, OH (October 21), and Wilton, CT (October 23).

The concerts are the main events of a fundraising effort to support Wexford Institute's work to raise awareness and improve the education of children with autism, children in trauma, and children learning English. Supporting special needs children with training of companion dogs is a focus of the Connecticut co-sponsor, Canine Training and Behavioral Services (CTBS).

Kearns, a founding member of The Irish Tenors, has been seen on PBS as part of the trio, and recently in a new PBS special - Hallelujah Broadway. In addition to touring with The Irish Tenors, Kearns has a flourishing solo career, including benefit concerts, and has performed in operas in the U.S. and Ireland.

Wexford Institute provides available complimentary tickets to each concert to teachers, students, police, firefighters, veterans, health, and religious professionals to support them in their work.

The concert in Columbus begins at 7:30 PM at the Southern Theatre. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com and the theater box office. The Wilton concert begins at 8 PM at the Clune Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are available at www.cityboxoffice.com. For additional information go to www.wexford.org.
