The TV titan--responsible for such boob (pun definitely intended) tube classis as Charlie's Angels, The Mod Squad, S.W.A.T., Starsky and Hutch, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Dynasty, T.J. Hooker, Hart to Hart, Beverly Hills, 90201,

Heaven (to name but a handful of his nearly 200 credits)--is apparently okay after undergoing successful radiation therapy for a lesion in his throat, his publicist said Friday afternoon.
The rep, Kevin Sasaki, released a brief statement saying Spelling was recovering at his Los Angeles mansion. Sasaki did not say whether the hugely successful producer's lesion was malignant. According to the statement, Spelling, who's regularly spotted puffing on a pipe, "has been working from home while recuperating and thanks everyone for their good wishes. He looks forward to returning to his normal work schedule in the next few weeks, and hopes this will be an inspiration to others in similar situations."
No further information was disclosed.
Spelling, whose age is listed in various sources as either 78 or 76, lives with his second wife, Candy, in a 56,550-square-foot 123-room spread (dubbed "The Manor") near Beverly Hills.
