Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (Top40 Charts/ Wexford Institute) - Anthony Kearns, founding member of The Irish Tenors, continues a unique concert tour to help improve education for children across the U.S. Kearns will sing favorite songs of Ireland, Broadway and opera in a concert in Wilton, Connecticut, on October 23, sponsored by the Wexford Institute and Canine Training and Behavior Services (CTBS), trainers of therapy dogs.

Kearns, named Ireland's Finest Tenor, has most recently been seen on PBS in a new special - Hallelujah Broadway. In addition to touring with The Irish Tenors, Kearns has a flourishing solo career, including benefit concerts, which he enjoys doing to "give back" for how fortunate he has been in his career. Kearns also enjoys performing in operas in the U.S. and Ireland.

The Wilton concert is part of the Wexford Institute Benefit Concert Tour, the main events of a fundraising effort to raise awareness and improve the education of children with autism, children in trauma, and children learning English. CTBS is joining with Wexford Institute as a co-sponsor to enable handler/dog teams to pass the certification test and become Therapy Dogs, registered to work in health care facilities and schools. CTBS, serving Fairfield County, Connecticut, as a leader in canine training since 1984, provides a variety of training services. Parents and educators have seen that Therapy Dogs often have positive effects on children with autism and those in trauma.

Wexford Institute is providing available complimentary tickets to each concert for teachers, students, police, firefighters, veterans, health, and community leaders to support them in their work.

The Wilton concert begins at 8 PM at the Clune Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are available at www.cityboxoffice.com. For additional information go to www.wexford.org, www.anthonykearns.net, and www.caninetrainingctbs.com.
