New York, NY (TOP40 Charts/ Christina Perri Official website) -- Christina Perri is set to release her debut live EP The Ocean Way Sessions on Tuesday, November 9th on Atlantic Records. The EP was recorded at the legendary Ocean Way Studios in LA, where generations of music icons have come before her including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Mary J. Blige. It was mixed by Brett Eliason whose credits include REM, Polyphonic Spree, and Pearl Jam. The Ocean Way Sessions will be available digitally via all online retailers as well as physically exclusively via christinaperri.com. It's been nearly four months since Christina Perri took the world by storm with her song "Jar Of Hearts." Since then the song has sold more the 350,000 copies and has rapidly climbed the Hot AC radio chart, landing on coveted playlists like WPLJ/New York, KLLC/San Francisco and WBMX/Boston. The show-stopping music video for "Jar Of Hearts" has found fans at MTV and VH1, the latter channel having made her their "You Oughta Know" artist for October. Single sales surged +59% in the first week after play, pushing the video quickly into their Top 20 countdown. The channel has quickly put the clip into their "Gung Ho" (heaviest) rotation. In addition, Christina has been playing out live including a main support slot earlier this month with one of her favorites - Jason Mraz. She's currently in LA working on her debut album, which will be released in early 2011. The Ocean Way Sessions is due out November 9th and features a new piano-only version of "Jar Of Hearts" as well as four new original compositions that she recorded with her band - "Bang Bang Bang," "Black + Blue," "Daydream," and "Tragedy." In addition to the audio, the entire session was captured on film, resulting in stunning live videos that accompany each track when purchased on www.christinaperri.com.
