NEW YORK (Knopfler Fans newsletter) - Mark Knopfler is celebrating the birth of a baby daughter at the age of 54. Former Dire Straits frontman has had a baby with his wife, Kitty Aldridge.
The baby, which will be named Katya Ruby Rose, was born on Tuesday, according to Knopfler's spokeswoman.
The couple already have a five-year-old daughter called Isabella. She is the second child for the star and his third wife, Kitty Aldridge. They already have a five-year-old daughter, Isabella.

Knopfler also has 16-year-old twin sons, Benjamin and Joseph, from an earlier marriage. The former Dire Straits frontman, who was born in Glasgow and raised in Newcastle, is now based in London.
