Brothers Steve Angello & An21 Collaborate On New Album 'Size Matters'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Steve Angello Official Website) - Steve Angello and AN21 are definitely keeping it in the family. Steve Angello needs little introduction. Most people will be aware that he is 33.3% of the Swedish House Mafia - the in your face and in demand elite collective of Sweden's house music bad boys; Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso. They are now bona fide pop stars with their recent debut 'One' reaching a top 10 position and 'Miami 2 Ibiza' breaking into the top 5.

What many people forget is that each DJ from the Swedish collective also has their own solo career and respective record label. It is less well known that Steve Angello is also the chief A&R and level headed label boss of his own imprint SIZE, which has gained much Kudos and credibility over the past few years. Over the last 12 months he has enjoyed a string of Beatport top 10's including 2 x No. 1's. Here he delivers the first in the cheekily named new compilation series 'Size Matters' on his beloved label.

What is astonishing is that Steve has a protégé in the form of his own younger brother, an independently successful international DJ and producer in his own right, who has made a name for himself by sheer hard work and determination. His name is Antoine but you may have come across him as AN21.

'Yeah, my name is very confusing... The whole story is from when I was a child and people couldn't pronounce my name as its French, so I started to say 'one two one'. So AN21 pronounces AN-TWO-ONE = Antoine'.

Unsurprisingly both Steve and Antoine have already worked together on joint productions, checkout 'Flonko' and 'Valodjo' both co produced by the siblings which have already bedded themselves in as sure fire club hits.

When asked about how the dynamic works between them Antoine states 'It feels really good and very natural, no rivalry, but when we do work together in the studio there's a lot of different opinions wanting to be heard. We´re both very stubborn so we can´t always agree with each other but it works'.

It's not just AN21's own productions that are hitting home, he has already remixed some of pop music's super elite, with remixes already under his belt from Basement Jaxx and The Gorillaz. However his biggest remix project to date was his debut with friend and production partner Max Vangeli, their remix of Ellie Golding's 'Starry Eyed' was an instant success 'the vocals are amazing and I'm really proud of that one... our biggest first track!'. AN21 and Vangeli also went on to produce 'Swedish Beauty' a track that independently smashed it on Beatport but has been ingeniously mashed with Julie Mcknight 'Diamond Life' to produce a euphoric mash up.

Although AN21 is only 21, he has a bright future ahead of him, already playing at Pacha Ibiza for the SHM's signature Monday night party as well as a string of festivals and big club dates.

Here in this special collaboration, Steve and his younger brother come together to deliver a two CD mix package of new and upfront dancefloor bullets. Steve Angello's mix includes his most recent label release 'Knas', again instantly noticed by Tongy and made 'Essential New Tune'. It has also already been a Beatport Number 1. As well as the SHM boys top 10 chart topper 'One' in the form of the original from the Swedish House Mafia. The big news is that Steve Angello 'Rave and Roll' has been added to the package as an exclusive, here's your chance to be one of the first to get it.

Size Matters is available now.
