Atlanta, GA (Top40 Charts/ New Terminus Music) - The Atlanta-based rock band New Terminus is making a big splash as they were recently voted one of the city's best Indie rock groups. The band is composed of four members - Jonathan Sleep on guitar and vocals, Travis Navarra manning lead guitar, Jim Miller playing bass guitar and Dallas Peavy matering drums. The band, which is composed of ex-members of Sunday Drive Bye and The Jonesplan, has created a sound of their own that gained them massive exposure and airplay in the South.

New Terminus offers high-powered, guitar-driven sonic experiences with playing that is polished and a sound that is clean and crisp. Although they are unique, fans will recognize various influences, including the contemporary creations of Built to Spill, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead combined with the pop pathos of Elvis Costello, XTC and the Pixies. The group's songs carry catchy melodies and heartfelt vocals.

Listening to their digital album, New Terminus, Volume 1, the listener is taken by the group's ability to create music that has a rich variety of dynamics supplemented by a catchy blend of orchestrated guitar licks, underlying rhythms and percussive accents. The song It Seems Obscene rocks as it offers a picture of a haunting and frustrating love, while the upbeat Girl Like Her creates a picture of a female who commands attention through her enigmatic nature.

Along with the band's website, you can also follow New Terminus on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/NewTerminusMusic. Fans will find a wealth of information at the site, including album cuts, information on bookings and insights into the band. For those looking to catch this high energy band live, they have upcoming gigs on November 17 at 9:00 PM at the Wormhole Bar, Savannah, GA, November 18 at 9 PM at The Mill, North Charleston, SC, and November 19 at 5:00 PM at Terrapin Brewing Company, Athens, GA.
