New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ KIDZ BOP Music) - KIDZ BOP, the No 1 kids' music brand in the U.S., today announced that Hunter Pecunia is the Grand Prize Winner of its first annual KIDZ Star USA Talent Search, America's biggest national talent competition for kids ages 15 and under. As part of the major prize package, the 15-year-old Dallas, TX native receives a recording contract and will fly out to Los Angeles next week where she will film a guest starring role in the upcoming KIDZ BOP 19 TV commercial and new KIDZ BOP music video. More than 35,000 kids nationwide entered the contest. There were nearly half a million fan votes for the uploaded short performance videos during the competition on the KidzStarUSA.com website. Earlier this week, KIDZ BOP flew to Hunter's hometown to surprise her with the Grand Prize. More than 600 kids, fans and family members were on hand to support Hunter, including local Mayor Scott McDearmont and American Idol finalist, Jason Castro, who taped a special message to congratulate her.
