New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) -Elizabeth Mitchell, whose lovingly rendered family album 'Sunny Day' is out now from Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, has been on tour across the US, by train, throughout the fall and will play New York City's Symphony Space on Saturday, December 4th. Mitchell's stage show includes her husband Daniel Littleton on guitar, and their daughter Storey Littleton playing harmonica and singing. Elizabeth and Daniel are also founding members of independent rock band Ida.

NPR raves about 'Sunny Day': "Some of the most uplifting kids music out there...[Mitchell is] without a doubt a kindie rock star."

'Sunny Day' offers fresh takes on classic songs from Chuck Berry and Bill Withers, along with Japanese and Korean nursery rhymes and traditional folk songs like "This Little Light of Mine" and "Green, Green Rocky Road." Guest artists on the album include Levon and Amy Helm, the Children of Agape Choir, Jon Langford, Dan Zanes, Chris Wood (of MMW), Larry Campbell and more.

Smithsonian Folkways and Elizabeth have also teamed together for a 'Sunny Day' mask contest and encourage concert attendees to bring their creations with them! More information here:
