EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Kenny Chesney's "Goin' Coastal Tour" will arrive in the New York area August 13, 2011 as part of Chesney's biggest tour in five years. Tickets for the newly added show by the country megastar, whose 'Hemingway's Whiskey' (BNA Records) continues to ride high on the Billboard charts, will go on sale December 11th. The New Meadowlands date marks Chesney's first ever stadium show in the New York-New Jersey area.

Tickets are $142, $104, $74 and $45 (Limited VIP Tickets available). Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 11th at 10:00 AM and can be purchased at https://www.kennychesney.com, https://www.newmeadowlandsstadium.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster Charge By Phone at 800-745-3000 or ticketmaster.com and through the New Meadowlands Stadium Box Office (Mon-Fri 9 AM- 5 PM).

The show will star Chesney, the four-time CMA and four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, and Zac Brown Band, GRAMMY's "Best New Artist" in 2010 whose latest album 'You Get What You Give' debuted at No 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with special guests Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker.

ABOUT THE NEW MEADOWLANDS STADIUM

The New Meadowlands Stadium, home to the New York Jets and New York Giants, sets the standard for venue excellence, with state-of-the-art technology, comfort and amenities. The only active venue to serve as the home stadium for two NFL teams, the New Meadowlands hosts 20 NFL games per season, more than any other complex.
