Denver, CO (Top40 Charts/ Liquid Compass) - As broadcasters increasingly look to streaming to help build audience share and reach their listeners in any location - in or out of market - Liquid Compass, a premier provider of streaming services to the radio industry, sees a bright future for audio entertainment streaming and looks to be the delivery technology provider of choice.

Since its inception nearly a decade ago, Liquid Compass has launched thousands of radio stations online to desktops and mobile devices around the world. The company, which recently introduced its new Mobile Division, is now downloading station apps to their broadcasters' listeners' iPhones in U.S. markets; apps for Android and BlackBerry devices will be released soon. In-dash and set-top-box streaming are also in the company's sights for future development.

"In today's evolving digital environment, more and more broadcasters have come to understand the value of streaming-technology enables it, competitors offer it, and listeners demand it," says Zackary Lewis, Liquid Compass CEO. "As a leader in the development and deployment of streaming delivery technologies for radio, our goal is to be the provider broadcasters choose, now and in the future, to help transform their stations into high-performance, multimedia outlets that are accessible to listeners anywhere and anytime."

Transformation and accessibility are key according to Doug Myer, General Manager and COO of Christian Radio Broadcaster WDAC - HD1 94.5 FM, WDAC - HD2 94.5 FM, and sister station WBYN 107.5 FM. "We decided several years ago to move away from being a 'traditional radio station' and instead become a provider of content on any device," Myer said. "When people find a format they really like, they want to take that format with them. Our mobile app allows us to continue to expand the reach of our specialized content to our listeners-wherever they are."

"We're pleased that in utilizing our desktop and mobile streaming applications, broadcasters are able to provide a better listening experience for their audience," Lewis said. "We're focused on continuing to develop technologies that enable our broadcasters to reach their listeners wherever they want to go, keep those listeners tuned in longer and more often and, in turn, provide greater value back to the broadcasters themselves."
