New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - It's been a big week for Newport Beach's Young the Giant: Myspace Music and Fuse have included Young the Giant as one of their newestIntroducing... artists, alongside Cali Swag District,Rye Rye and Christina Perri and Daytrotter.com has posted a live session captured with the band earlier this season.

Designed to foster the discovery and championing of new artists, "Introducing..." leverages the breadth and depth of the Myspace Music and Fuseplatforms to deliver exposure on par with superstar artists through a series of specially-tailored online and offline promotional opportunities. "Introducing..." presents new artists to the Myspace Music and Fuse audiences through key content features including album, single and video premieres, featured playlists, behind-the-scenes footage, "getting to know you" interviews and much more, helping build a loyal fan base within the community. On Fuse's on-air network, "Introducing..." artists are featured on shows such as "A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus," "Hip Hop Shop," and the "Fuse Top 20 Countdown." In addition, artists are individually highlighted in promo spots that air in programming across the network.

Young the Giant is excited to be featured alongside such diverse and creative musicians, and hopes that fans will enjoy all aspects of the Introducing... program.

Plus, Daytrotter.com has posted the session Young the Giant recorded for the site, which includes exclusive versions of "My Body" and "I Got." Make sure to check out the awesome write up and illustration (featured above left) that goes with the band's Daytrotter session!

Writes Daytrotter: "Gadhia and the rest of his dynamic and soul-searching band (guitarist Jacob Tilley, guitarist Eric Cannata, bassist Payam Doostzadeh and drummer Francois Comtois) find a way to get us lost in the late summer doldrums - tired of going to the pool or the pond every day and knowing that we don't want what we're doing/this leisure lifestyle of carefree excess to come to a close, but we're also burnt out on it. We keep jumping into that water, but every splash makes us feel less and less."

The band, originally from Newport Beach, CA, has recently hit the road with bands like Minus the Bear, Neon Trees, Marina and the Diamonds, and The Futureheads.
