New York City, NY (Top40 Charts/ Keeping Riley Official Website) After finishing their first college tour, which was sponsored by Of Rags (a non-profit sustainable fashion company), Keeping Riley is driven to further their presence among the crowded NYC scene this holiday season. The band, which was signed to Rock X Records in 2009 after beating thousands in a national competition, will host an industry holiday showcase on Tues, Jan 4, at the legendary Bitter End (147 Bleeker St.). The venue that has hosted everyone from Lady Gaga to Stevie Wonder, and has been dear to the feel-good 7 piece since their beginnings in 2004. The performance will last from 7-9 pm, and will be hosted by NYC comedian (and childhood friend of the band) Drew Toresco. All are welcome to attend the show, and will receive free admission with a print out of this press release. The band wants to attract industry representatives, in addition to their typical NYC draw�”this includes management agencies, record labels, possible endorsements, booking agents, press, and promoters. The band will be distributing press kits as well as performing an hour long set highlighting their newly released album, Welcome Fire, which was produced by Michael Seifert (Tori Amos, Regina Spektor, Colbie Caillat, Lifehouse).
