Music By Jana Mashonee Enriches The Discovery Channels Newest Series Premier, 'Flying Wild Alaska'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ International Talent Organization) The Discovery Channel debuting its newest series, "FLYING WILD ALASKA," on January 14th at 9PM EST/PST, has chosen songs and music by Jana Mashonee to be used as part of the soundtrack throughout the 10-part series.

The show, introducing the unconventional family that rules Alaska's most dangerous skies, is a new 10-part series for Discovery Channel. Operating the family-run airline, Era Alaska, the Tweto family battles unforgiving Alaska weather and terrain to transport life's necessities to one of the most remote and extreme regions of America.

Jana's music was selected for its lush vocals, cultural relevance and rich instrumental production. Music from Jana's Flash of a Firefly and American Indian Story albums will be used including the songs Tana'ke, The Hunt and The Spirit of One.

Clips from Jana's music will be used throughout the 10-part series. Jana will also be featured in a PBS Special later this year.
