Water.org, a non-profit organization co-founded by Oscar winning actor Matt Damon and executive director Gary White, recently announced its partnership with KAMEKO and the tour. "Water.org is excited to be KAMEKO's charity partner as part of the 'Tired of Being Broke' tour," said Gary White, "the tour is a wonderful opportunity to help raise people's spirits through the power of music and at the same time, to raise funds needed to help bring clean water to those in need around the world." The tour will be sponsored by Carver Federal Savings Bank, with Rolling Out Magazine as the tour's U.S. media sponsor.
During this tour, KAMEKO will offer financial assistance to various charities such as The Mali Health Project and Habitat for Humanity through a portion of tour proceeds, product giveaways and coupons from sponsors for discounts on food, clothing and various necessities.
