NEW YORK (Linkin Park Fans Website) - Linkin Park's smash hit North American tour with P.O.D., Hoobastank, and Story Of The Year ground to a halt after singer Chester Bennington was diagnosed with bronchitis and acute laryngitis on Friday, forcing the cancellation of last week's scheduled show in Inglewood, California.

Bennington has had a few days to rest and the tour's top in Utah tonight is still scheduled to go ahead as planned, as is the tour's stop in Vancouver later this week.
Bennington was hospitalized in June after suffering severe back and abdominal pains. The following month, he needed surgery for a hernia.
