Vh1 Launches New Reality Series 'Love And Hip Hop'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ F1G Media LLC / Media Monopoly Group) VH1 Launches New Reality Series "Love and Hip Hop"

Somaya 'Boss' Reece Takes New York By Storm

VH1's new reality series, "Love and Hip Hop" aired on March 14, with an all-star cast, including one of its stars, Somaya 'Boss' Reece, as a Latin hip hop artist who arrives in New York to follow her dreams.

Somaya is known for her superior Internet presence and has been recognized in the music industry by XXL magazine, MSNBC, VH1, Telemundo, and E! as a rising Latin star in her genre of music. She has been co-signed by Sony recording artist Pitbull as the female version of him and he stated that the industry needed a sound of a Latin woman's voice that is Somaya. It is evident that the convergence of her hip hop and Latin style will influence a new generation of listeners.

In the next few weeks, "Love and Hip Hop" will chronicle her hardships and successes to accomplish her career goals as a musical artist. The docu-soap series will showcase her relationship with her management, Maurice Aguilar, co-founder of Media Monopoly Group, a 360 media management firm based out of New York and Los Angeles, as they document her photo shoots, interviews, recording sessions, and music videos.

Somaya will be seen with an array of highly sought after industry professionals, including celebrity hip hop photographer Felix Natal Jr.; world renowned music video Director X, Formally known as LIL X, Leading Music Video Director Rage; prominent music producer Cito on the Beat; radio personality Alex Sensation of La Mega FM in New York City; and a special appearance by Black Wall Street's recording artist Shoot XO.

"Somaya Reece will be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come with her diversity and multi-cultural appeal," says Reece's manager Maurice Aguilar, who also appears on the show. "Somaya exemplifies the leadership and determination that women must possess to be a recording artist in a hip hop industry primarily dominated by men."
