Long Island Based Band Nonstop To Cairo Guests On The Rhythms Of New York TV Show
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ The Rhythms of New York) Long Island, NY-based band Nonstop To Cairo recently taped an episode of 'The Rhythms of New York' - the television series that examines the unique musical scene that helps make NYC the 'Media Capital' of the world. The exact airdates will be announced on 'The Rhythms of New York' website www.rhythmsofny.com. (The show can also be viewed in its entirety on the Rhythms website.)

'The Rhythms of New York', the 2009 BETA Award recipient for Best Entertainment/Variety/Performing Arts program, showcases Artists and Bands ranging from beginners to highly seasoned professionals from a vast array of cultures. This diverse program is Produced and Hosted by respected music industry veteran, Dave Brodsky, and Co-Hosted by music promoter, Dee Jagonase. Dave and Dee doggedly scour the The Big Apple for artists and bands that help to make up its musical heritage and then showcase their performances on 'The Rhythms of New York'. These performances are recorded live and combined with interviews of the artists. The interviews enable the viewer to share the dreams, ego, and indecision that are a part of being a musician in the fishbowl that is New York.

Unfortunately, Dee Jagonase was unable to attend the Nonstop to Cairo studio taping. Tiffany Brown served as Guest Co-Host for this one episode.

Nonstop to Cairo is an award-winning 'fun-loving, feel-good party' band 'dedicated to making great music'. They create music that relates to their fans. With elements of pop, rock, reggae, funk, and jazz in their sound, Nonstop To Cairo has quickly amassed a large fan base throughout the New York metropolitian area and mid-Atlantic states, performing in various venues and festivals. The band consist of Nick Diamond (vocals/guitar), Matt Ezzo (bass), Dave Barlett (drums), Andrew Haggerty (trombone), Anthony 'Tone' Ramirez (guitar, saxaphone), and August Harris (vocals). Nonstop to Cairo is currently working on their full length debut album.
